I’m Hilary Sisson, a Licensed Educational Psychologist. With over a decade of experience in the field of School Psychology, I understand the unique challenges that students with learning disabilities face on a daily basis. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to helping these students succeed by providing personalized and effective support. Whether it’s working with families or collaborating with educators, I am committed to doing whatever it takes to help students thrive and achieve their academic goals.

We provide tailored services for each child, ensuring unique needs are met. Our individualized approach fosters a supportive environment for development and success

Social Skills and Counseling
Group social skills training and individual counseling effectively support children's emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. In a group setting children practice social skills and build friendships while individual counseling offers personalized support to help them navigate their feelings. These approaches enhance emotional well-being and contribute better behavior and academic performance, laying a strong foundation for future success.

Private and Publicly Funded Assessments
We provide private assessments for dyslexia and other learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. Publicly funded assessments (IEEs) are provided at no cost to parents. Our experienced team ensures accurate evaluations and tailored recommendations to support every child's unique needs. Your child's well-being is our priority.

Parent Training and Advocacy
We equip parents with essential tools for supporting their child's development through focused training on effective support strategies. We also provide consultation for IEPs, 504 plans, and work with private schools to create accommodation and behavior plans, ensuring every child receives the necessary to thrive.
About Me.
I have years of experiences working with individuals and families with unique educational needs. With a brother with Down Syndrome and a sister with Tuberous Sclerosis, I have first-hand experience advocating for educational services to benefit children and their families.

I received my B.A. at the University of California,Santa Cruz. I then received my Ed.S. in Education from Sacramento State. I have held a variety of clinical, vocational, and leadership positions supporting individuals with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental and learning challenges including job coach, a community specialist for the Department of Developmental Services, and as a Research Assistant at the UC Davis Mind Institute.
As a parent to two young children, I'm constantly learning and adapting to the challenges and joys of parents.
